Who are we looking for?

The BD – Sponsorship Specialist will be responsible for identifying, cultivating, and securing strategic sponsorship opportunities that enhance the value proposition of our expos and drive revenue growth. This
role is crucial in building strong partnerships with businesses, brands, and industry stakeholders to ensure our expo events’ success and continued expansion.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sponsorship strategy to attract diverse sponsors that align with our expo themes and objectives.
  • Identify and research potential sponsors, exhibitors, and partners who can add value to our expos and enhance the overall attendee experience.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at potential sponsors, understanding their marketing goals and tailoring sponsorship packages to meet their specific
  • Create compelling and tailored sponsorship proposals that highlight the unique benefits of partnering with our expos, including brand exposure, lead generation, and networking
  • Collaborate closely with the expo management team to ensure seamless activation and execution of sponsorships, ensuring sponsors receive maximum visibility and ROI during the event.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including Marketing, Events, and PR, to align sponsorship activities with broader marketing strategies and ensure cohesive brand messaging.
  • Represent our organization at industry events and conferences to build and maintain relationships with potential sponsors and partners.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in expo sponsorship sales, or related business development roles within the events industry.
  • Must have experience working on high ticket size and targets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of expo sponsorship trends, market dynamics, and the ability to identify new opportunities for sponsorship growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.
  • Highly self-motivated, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
